Overview
This policy explains what information Koh Chang Community collects, how it is used, and your choices. The app is operated by BAAL Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"), which is the controller of your data. We aim to collect only what the app needs to work.
What we collect
Account details from your sign-in (name, email, profile photo); your profile and interests; content you post and messages you send; business listings you create; and basic usage and device data. Where you choose to share location it is used at an area level (e.g. a beach or town), not precise GPS, unless you enable map features that need it.
How we use it
To provide and improve the app — showing the directory, enabling chat and orders, sending notifications you opt into, keeping the community safe, and handling payments for paid features.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the app, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, messaging), Stripe (payments for ads and paid services), and a third-party AI provider (for AI-assisted features such as search and moderation). They process data only to provide their service.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Content you choose to post or send is visible to the people it is shared with. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of the community.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can edit your profile any time, and delete your account and associated data from the account settings. You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the app or as required by law.
